
DANIEL ESTEBAN Lugo
AT A glance
Daniel Esteban Lugo is a first generation Mexican-American tenor from El Paso, Texas. He has performed with Opera Saratoga, Des Moines Metro Opera, Virginia Opera, and Tri-cities Opera spanning repertoire from Ernesto in Don Pasquale to Timothy Laughlin in Fellow Travelers. Most recently, Daniel joined Opera Saratoga for their 2025 summer festival as The New Yorker and Frick in La Vie Parisienne directed by Mary Birnbaum and conducted by Juliane Gallant.
Daniel is excited to return as a Herndon Foundation Emerging Artist with Virginia Opera for their 2025-2026 season. Starting out the season with Rossini's La Cenerentola, Daniel will be performing with the ensemble and covering the prince, Don Ramiro.
